Desktop Web Access benefits both Document Consumers, who can now get access to important documents from a browser, and Document Administrators, who can provide documents to more people without sacrificing the document control procedures that they have defined and implemented.It also offers:


Easy to Search and Find Documents

Not only offers standard features of Desktop, such as Quick Search and Binders, but users will also be able to filter, sort and group on columns to further help them find the documents that they are looking for.


Maintain Document Control

All document access and usage rules (viewing, printing, copying), configured in Desktop, are enforced through Desktop Web Access, and only the current revision can be accessed. Users may be required to log in to insure that each person only sees the documents that they are supposed to see.


Better Control of Paper Copies

All documents, printed with Desktop Web Access – Consumer Edition, can have a watermark printed on each page, indicating date and time the document was printed, as well as a revision history automatically appended to the end.
